The Late Vicar of Kenwyn.—Two additional Memorials of the late Reverend Prebendary Cornish, have recently been erected in Kenwyn Church. A window, filled with stained glass, has been placed at the west end of the south aisle. The window is of two lights, with quatrefoil in the spandril. In the centre of each light is a “vesica,” containing a pictorial representation—partly emblematic—of Christ commissioning the Apostles; the motto on one picture is “Pasce agnos meos,” and that on the other, “Pasce oves meos.” At the foot of the window runs the inscription—“In memoriam Georgii Jacobi Cornish, Vicarii.” In the quatrefoil is the sacred monogram I.H.S. The other memorials are a pulpit and reading desk, of oak, handsomely and tastefully carved; the pulpit having, around its base, the same memorial inscription as that on the window. The window is by Mr. Wailes, of Newcastle; the pulpit and desk were designed by W. White, Esq., architect, Truro, and skilfully carved by Mr. Bowden.
