Kenwyn Church.—A very beautiful stained glass window, by Gibbs, of London, has just been placed in Kenwyn Church, to the memory of the late Mr John Tippet. The chief designs represent “Our Lord on His way to Bethany,” “The Raising of Lazarus,” and “The Anointing of the Saviour’s Feet.” The inscription at the base of the window is—“In memory of John Tippet, 13 years churchwarden of this parish. Died July 13th, 1864, aged 64.” The whole of the chancel windows in this church are now filled with stained glass; the memorial windows being in memory of Harriet Carlyon, Eliza Carlyon, Clement Carlyon, Mary Carlyon, and Anne Carlyon, George James Cornish, vicar, William Mansel Tweedy, John Tippett, and Elizabeth Blamey.
