I have delayed answering Mr Coode’s letter until I could be more certain as to my arrangements. First I must thank you very much for the kind message you sent of invitation to Mrs. Prynne & myself to stay for two nights at Killiow.
I much regret that as Mrs. Prynne will be staying with two of her grandchildren at Torquay, it will not be possible for her to accompany me on my visit to Cornwall, but I shall be pleased to come on from Menheniot on Monday next 17th. inst: and stay until Tuesday afternoon, when I have to go on to Duloe.
