From Cornwall Record Office ref. P97/2/29.
Dear Mr. Coode,
The original design had been returned to Mr. Bacon so that the cartoons might be got on with for the main portion of the window.
With regard to the insertion of the figures of The Great Unknown, St. Piran, St. Kea and Bishop Gott. A separate sketch has been made, shewing these to take the place of the four Doctors, originally shown in the lower part of the two outside windows. To add any more figures or Saints, would overcrowd the window, and give a very unsatisfactory effect.
If you will kindly put the tracing sent herewith over the coloured window design, which you will receive by the same post, you will see the exact position of the figures mentioned. Will you please acknowledge the receipt of the tracing and the design of the window.
With kindest regards.
I am yours sincerely,
Geo: H. Fellowes Prynne

Canon Mills will write & give the positions & alterations in the figures. WDC.
