Thank you very much for your kind letter recalling memories of the past which in spite of the 20 or more years ago are very vivid still in my mind.
My nephew and I consulted Canon Mills on the subject of the “Ascension” & he was quite in favour of it as a suitable subject for the East Window–
Would it be troubling you too much if I ask you for a rough outline of both subjects? I like what you say on the subject of the Resurrection at the same time I have always had a wish for the Ascension. Could you suggest any other subject?
Is there any chance of your coming to Cornwall soon as I should be very glad if you would come here and discuss the possibilities of the window with us?
